Applications are now being accepted.

The Voorhees Soccer Association and its sponsors are pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for the 2008 Voorhees Memorial Day Classic Soccer Tournament.

The Voorhees Classic, now in its 16th year, will be held May 23, 24, 25 and 26, 2008, in Voorhees, New Jersey. The Classic has become one of the top soccer tournaments in the northeast. Located in South Jersey and close to Philadelphia, our tournament continues to attract good competition from all over. With up to three separate divisions for each age bracket, the tournament affords teams the opportunity to play same level competition from outside of their normal playing area. Last year, 200 boys and girls teams, U9-U18, participated in the Voorhees Classic. These teams came from 6 different states (NJ, PA, DE, NY, CT, MA).

This year's tournament will kick off on Friday night, May 23rd, with games being played by some local teams. All other teams will play 2 games on Saturday, May 24th and 2 games on Sunday May 25th. All semi-finals and finals will be played on Monday, May 26th.

Each team will play a minimum of 4 games. We have committed to the use of a 3-man referee system for all games. We, also, have numerous night games, under the lights.
